I’m 5 foot and a size (US) 16/18 and I got size XL. It fits perfectly just loose enough to be comfortable and a perfect long length but I didn’t trip over it! The fabric is a lightweight jersey not for hot summer days but great for cooler nights. The one problem was the treads around the front collar where coming apart when I received it, I loved it so much I spent the time to fix it.

I may have bought a size too large but as I love baggy clothes, it's fine. The material is really pleasant - and quite a thick, soft cotton so not ideal on day warmer than 33 C, at least for me, but great for a good part of my year, I expect. I am enjoying it. It washes/dries really well too.
